Carrboro plans “Rise & Rhythm” event for Women’s History Month

The Town of Carrboro will host an event called “Rise & Rhythm” to mark Women’s History Month on Saturday, March 14, 2026. The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Drakeford Library Complex located at 203 S. Greensboro St.

Attendees can expect performances and speakers, as well as a vendor fair featuring local businesses. The vendor fair begins at 11 a.m., with the main program starting at noon. Organizers state that the event aims to support and celebrate women’s history and empowerment within the community.

Participation in the program is free and open to individuals of all ages.
