Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools issued the following announcement on Dec. 14. 

 Last spring, Superintendent Nyah Hamlett launched a recognition program known as CHCCS CHAMPions (Celebrating Heroes and Magnificent People), to honor those who are making a difference in our school district. Once again, we are accepting nominations for CHAMPions! So, if you know a staff member or student who is doing amazing things in our district, please nominate them using the updated form below. We look forward to sharing their stories with our community!
