County of Orange issued the following announcement on Dec. 27. 

The @OCNCGOV tax office will be closed Friday, Dec. 31, for New Year’s Day. To pay property taxes in the 2021 calendar year for income tax purposes, payment must be received in the office by 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 30.
