County of Orange issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.

Don’t miss this important program on VSED (Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking), Dementia & Advance Directives on Thu, Jan 12, from 4-6pm at the Seymour Center. 

Fee: FREE. Register by Wed, Jan 11 at 919-968-2070. 

1 in 3 seniors will die with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. A “good death” is more likely when those supporting the dying person are more informed about the options.
