The county registered an average of $5.81 per gallon for diesel gas.
GasBuddy reports show that diesel gas was available at 24 of the 45 reported gas stations in Orange County.
Across North Carolina, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas rose to $5.57, compared to the week before.
