There were 337 lessors of nonfinancial intangible assets (except copyrighted works) in the U.S. that had between five and nine employees in 2016, according to County Business Patterns (CBP) statistics provided by the United States Census Bureau.

CBP data indicates that there are more establishments categorized as retail trade businesses with between five and nine employees in the U.S. than in any other category.
