Town of Hillsborough issued the following announcement on May 1.
The Hillsborough Police Department’s 2019 annual report is now available online. The report from Police Chief Duane Hampton summarizes the state of the town’s law enforcement activities.
The 2019 report highlights the work of patrol and investigations divisions and provides snapshots of the many ways Hillsborough officers are involved in community policing. It also provides information on how the department is organized, demographics for the department, and how work is reviewed internally to ensure compliance with department policies, prevailing laws, and best practices.
