Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Aveda Institute-Chapel Hill

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Aveda Institute-Chapel Hill, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

North Carolina students paid $23,088 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 89 students received grants or scholarships totaling $373,179 and 117 students took out student loans totaling more than $986,527.

Including all undergraduates (207), 162 students used grants or scholarships totaling $623,877, and 191 students took out $1.3 million in federal student loans.
