University of North Carolina at Greensboro research assistant Nathan Gee donates $60 to Roger Dean R.D. Huffstetler's campaign

Nathan Gee, a research assistant at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, donated $60 to Democratic Party candidate Roger Dean R.D. Huffstetler, according to the Federal Election Commission.

According to records, there have been $7,738 in campaign contributions made by individuals affiliated with University of North Carolina at Greensboro as of November 3. All of these contributions were made to Democratic Party candidates and committees.

Noah W. Reynolds' contribution of $3,300 to Democratic Party Cal Cunningham was the largest contribution made by someone affiliated with University of North Carolina at Greensboro since January 1, 2019.

According to an Inside Higher Ed analysis of federal elections data, individuals that were affiliated with colleges and universities have donated five times more money to Joe Biden than to President Trump. A study by Pew Research in 2017 found that 58 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents thought colleges and universities have a negative impact on the way things are going in this country.
