Of the 147,376 citizens living in Orange County in 2021, 80.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 118,761 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 55,661 were male, constituting 46.9%, and 63,100 were female, making up 53.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Orange County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.8%.
