Chapel Hill police seek public's help in locating missing woman

The Chapel Hill Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating Jessica Putnam, a 38-year-old resident of Chapel Hill who has been reported missing. Ms. Putnam was last seen on May 18 at approximately 11:30 am in the vicinity of Elliott Rd.

Ms. Putnam is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing around 135 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly wearing a black sweater and pajama pants. Authorities have stated that they do not believe Ms. Putnam to be in any immediate danger.

The police department urges anyone with information regarding Ms. Putnam's whereabouts to immediately contact them via 911 or by calling the Chapel Hill Police Department directly at 919-968-2760 (between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).
