On June 3, 2024, at approximately 2:20 p.m., the Chapel Hill Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 2701 Homestead Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals deceased inside a residence with apparent gunshot wounds.
The deceased have been identified as Hanho Choi, 70, and Hyejin Choi, 31. Authorities have confirmed that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information has been released at this time.
