At 9:16 p.m., the Chapel Hill Police Department responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a driver on E. Franklin Street at Eastgate Crossing. The pedestrian was transported to UNC Hospitals with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
