A production company will film a television show in downtown Chapel Hill and on the UNC campus from Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 10. Most of the filming will occur on campus, with one morning of filming on Franklin Street.

"This is a great opportunity to show off our town – and it will require temporary street and parking closures as well as traffic and transit detours. Please bear with us and help us welcome the cast and crew to our community."

Authorities are working closely with the production company and University partners to ensure minimal disruption:

- Pedestrians may be asked to pause during active filming.

- Cyclists might need to pause or detour.

- Bus stops may temporarily move.

- Drivers should follow detour signs.

Downtown businesses will remain open, though access routes may include pauses or detours.

Here are the expected changes:

**Monday, July 8**

This day will bring significant impacts to Franklin Street. On-street parking will not be available during temporary street closures.

- Franklin St. between Columbia St. & Raleigh St.: CLOSED from 6 am – 12 noon

- Henderson St. between Rosemary St. & Franklin St.: CLOSED from 6 am - 12 noon

- Cameron Ave between Columbia St. & Raleigh St.: CLOSED from 6 am – 8 pm

- Columbia St. between Franklin St. & South Rd.: CLOSED from 3 pm – 8 pm

- Cameron Ave. between Pittsboro St. & Raleigh St.: CLOSED from 3 pm – 8 pm

**Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10**

Filming these days takes place entirely on campus.

- Cameron Ave. between Columbia St. & Raleigh St.: CLOSED from 9 am – 11 pm

Chapel Hill Transit has made efforts to reduce impacts on customers by moving Franklin Street stops one block north to Rosemary Street, with routes detouring accordingly.
