UNC hosts over 20 athletic events this weekend; expect changes in parking

With over 20 home athletic events scheduled and 16 visiting teams arriving in Chapel Hill, a busy weekend is expected for Tar Heel fans. The University of North Carolina's various sports teams, including softball, baseball, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis, men's soccer, and both basketball teams will host events on campus from Friday to Sunday.

The softball team will be particularly active as they host several opponents throughout each day during the Mizuno Invitational. Due to the high volume of events occurring simultaneously, regular parking and traffic procedures may be adjusted.

Fans are advised to check social media accounts such as @goheels and @goheelsgameday for the latest updates throughout the weekend. Additionally, GameDay guides for each sport provide further information.

The schedule of competitions begins on Friday with baseball facing Princeton at 11 a.m., followed by softball against Rutgers at 2 p.m., men's tennis versus Georgia Tech at 4 p.m., another softball game against Rider at 4:30 p.m., and men's lacrosse taking on Princeton at 8 p.m.
