Town of Carrboro issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.

The Chapel Hill – Carrboro Community Parade is this Saturday!

The parade begins at 10:30amThe route is 1.25 miles long, beginning at Church St., continuing down W. Franklin/Main St. into Carrboro, and ending on Fidelity S.t near Town Hall.

The forecast calls for a cool and cloudy morning, so dress warmly.
