Town of Carrboro issued the following announcement on Dec. 22. 

The Town of Carrboro’s administrative offices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 24, Monday, Dec. 27, and Friday, Dec. 31, for the holidays. 

Emergency police, fire and rescue services may be reached by calling 9-1-1. 

Household Trash collection will be affected as follows: 

  • Wednesday (Dec. 22) collection is on Monday, Dec. 20 
  • Thursday (Dec. 23) collection is on Tuesday, Dec. 21
  • Friday (Dec. 24) collection is on Wednesday, Dec. 22 
  • Friday (Dec. 31) collection is on Monday, Jan. 3 

There will be no yard waste collection during the week of Dec. 20-24.
