TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL: Green Paint and Bollards are Coming Sept. 13

Town of Chapel Hill issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.

Starting Tuesday, September 13, contractors will begin installing flexible bollards next to and green paint in the newly-configured bike lanes on W. Franklin St.

Work will occur 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sections of the bike lane will be impacted as the crew makes its way down the path. Parking in these areas will also be affected.

The crew will start on the south side of Merritt Mill Rd. and progress east to Columbia St. Once the south side is complete, the crew will switch to the north side and work their way back.
