Town of Chapel Hill issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.
Due to inclement weather, this detour on West Cameron Avenue will take place on Friday, January 6.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience during this critical infrastructure project.
As progress is made on the West Cameron Avenue Water Line Replacement Project, Ransom Street will be closed to thru traffic on Wednesday (Jan 4) for a portion of the work to be completed safely.
Weather could push this closure to Friday (Jan 6).
