Town of Chapel Hill issued the following announcement on Dec. 22. 

Chapel Hill Transit will be closed Saturday, December 25, for Christmas and Saturday, January 1, for New Years Day.

CHT will operate Sunday Service Friday (12/24), Monday (12/27), and Friday (12/31) for the winter holidays; the U route will not run and the NU route will end at 7 p.m.

CHT will operate regular service without the CCX, FCX, or JFX Tuesday (12/28) through Thursday (12/30).

EZ Rider will be closed Thursday and on Friday will operate from 8:15 a.m. to 6:52 p.m.

Please plan accordingly and have a happy and safe holiday.
