TOWN OF HILLSBOROUGH: Annual Chlorine Disinfection Has Started
0Comments

Town of Hillsborough issued the following announcement on Mar. 7.

The annual state-required disinfection of our water system has started for one month. Your water remains safe to drink. Some customers may notice a chlorine taste or odor that can be removed. See how via the news release. Utilities crews also will flush hydrants to ensure chlorine makes its way through the entire system. When they reach your neighborhood, you may notice temporary discoloration or cloudiness of your water from naturally occurring minerals being stirred up. Just run cold water in your tub for a few minutes to clear your water line.
