TOWN OF HILLSBOROUGH: Hillsborough to Survey Residents on Satisfaction, Priorities
0Comments

Town of Hillsborough issued the following announcement on Dec. 14.

The Town of Hillsborough is conducting a community survey to assess residents’ satisfaction with town services and to help set priorities for the town.

“We love Hillsborough, and that means continually working to maintain what’s special about our community,” note Mayor Jenn Weaver and Town Manager Eric Peterson in a cover letter that will be received with the survey. “Getting your views on what the town can do better is a critical part of improving that quality of life.”

The survey will be delivered to town residents by postal mail. Residents may answer the survey in English on paper or online at the link provided in the survey packet. Those who wish to answer in Spanish may do so at the phone number provided in the survey packet.  Individual results will remain confidential. All Hillsborough households will receive a survey, which should take most people about 15 minutes to complete.

Survey questions will ask residents about their level of satisfaction and priorities for a wide range of community services. These include public safety, parks and recreation, code enforcement, public works, communication and customer service. Overall results will be discussed at a Hillsborough Board of Commissioners meeting and placed on the town’s website.

The statistically valid survey will be administered by ETC Institute of Olathe, Kansas. The agency specializes in conducting surveys for local governmental organizations across the United States.
