Chapel Hill - Carrboro Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Taking Certain Action in Uncertain Times

Description

How evolving business plans turn into positive growth

Being able to execute on your plans effectively in the midst of uncertainty requires every company to function more like an entrepreneurial start-up. This workshop will provide you with key tactics for executing better together as a team in rolling out your plans, with specific focus being given to the "last mile."

According to data recently published by the "Open Minds" organization only 10% of new plans actually get implemented into a company.  That means that a full 90% of plans fail to accomplish their intent, usually in the last mile of execution.  It is a challenging reality, made all the more difficult by the ever changing environment we currently find ourselves in.

This statistic is a description of what can happen; however, it is not a prescription for those organizations who have the foresight to focus on, and plan for, that last mile.

Come join us for this fun and interactive 45 minute workshop style session where you and your team members will master 3 key tools that you can immediately use to increase the chances of success when rolling out your new plans to your company.

This session will be led by eight time business owner and operator Todd Chalfin from Forward Traction. Through his work at Forward Traction, Todd works closely with independent business owners throughout the Southeast.  His focus is on helping small to medium size business owners gain the skills and capacity required to be able to thrive in both good and challenging times.   Using a real life case study, Todd will take you from the 30,000 foot view of your business all the way down to "where the rubber meets the road."

At the conclusion of this workshop, you will walk away with a set of simple, practical tools that you and your leadership team can immediately use to focus priorities, evolve plans and gain traction together as a team.
