Chapel Hill Review

Town of Chapel Hill issued the following announcement on Oct. 2. 

Town of Chapel Hill staff, along with community leaders from the Jackson Center and EmPOWERment, are hosting community meetings to hear from neighbors about safety concerns on northside neighborhood streets. Both virtual and in-person meetings are scheduled:

• Tuesday October 5, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.; virtual via Zoom (no registration required)

• Thursday October 14, 6 p.m.; in-person at the Hargraves Community Center

Town staff members are working to keep streets safe for all residents – whether they’re walking, rolling, or driving. Our residents know what is happening on their streets better than anyone. You are encouraged to take this survey about street safety concerns before the meetings. Survey results will help staff prepare to address specific concerns and identify possible solutions during the meetings in October.
