Eastern Alamance High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
We are sorry to announce this, but at this time we do not have an opponent for a Homecoming on Friday night. Our scheduled game with Reidsville High School had to be cancelled because of Covid. We were in discussion with another school that was looking for a game, but we were informed yesterday that they would not be able to play. We have been working yesterday and today, but at this time we do not have an opponent. Based on this we will be moving Homecoming and Spirit Week to the week of October 18th. The dates below are the new dates for Homecoming and the activities that take place.
*Powderpuff Football Game - October 9th
*Homecoming Parade - October 20th (Pending Approval of the Town of Mebane)
*Homecoming Football Game vs. Northwood - October 22nd
If we are able to find an opponent for this Friday night, then we will celebrate Senior Night this Friday for all of our cheerleaders, dance team, marching band, and football team members.
Again we are sorry for this change, but much of this is out of our hands. We appreciate your understanding.
